Creative expression acts as a physiological reset button. It bypasses the usual “overthinking” defenses to get you out of your head and into your heart, like a somatic bridge back to your true self. Creative expression facilitates re-embodiment, nervous system regulation, and self-attunement, to replace the chronic stress of approval with the healing power of acceptance.
